At 28,000 acres in the Great Salt Lake, it is the largest island in the lake and home to a free-roaming bison herd, mule deer, pronghorn, and excellent hiking trails with views of the Wasatch Range. Snowbasin Resort
Snowbasin Resort is approximately 25 miles northeast of Roy via US-89 and UT-167 through the scenic Ogden Valley. Snowbasin hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics downhill, super-G, and combined events and offers more than 3,000 skiable acres across 104 trails. Group drop-off is at the main lodge circle; the winding mountain road to the resort is best handled by minibuses or mid-size coaches rather than full 56-passenger motorcoaches in winter conditions.

Delta Center

The Dee Events Center at Weber State University is just 9 miles north of Roy and serves as the hub for WSU Wildcats basketball, concerts, family shows, and community events in the Ogden metro. The 11,500-seat arena hosts a busy calendar from fall through spring. Bus drop-off is at the north entrance on Marriott Drive, with parking available in adjacent surface lots.
